I have worked alongside Katie for approx. 3 years, Katie as a writer, myself a proof-reader. I have always enjoyed reading the work Katie produces for several reasons: Katie has a unique way/style of writing, she always manages to inject a little humour into her work whenever possible and writes with confidence and clarity; Katie is diligent and conscientious, always happy to help and is accommodating when it comes to work needing to be completed with a quick turnaround; As a writer, it is difficult to write engaging good quality work that your target audience will enjoy reading let alone something a proof-reader will actually enjoy reading. I almost always found Katie’s work easy to read which made my job much easier. A final note, on a more personal level, Katie is always lovely to speak to. She has such a warm, friendly, and personable manner and her can-do attitude makes it a pleasure to work with her.

Katie is an excellent proofreader and editor - despite a bit of chopping and changing on our side about time-frames, she was more than happy to accommodate us, and found a time for us that was mutually acceptable. Her work was impeccable! She delivered the work in the time-frame originally agreed, and we are more than happy with the work that she supplied. The work we sent her was a collection of short stories and prose, and it must have been a challenge to switch between those, but she did so very well. I'd like to emphasise her friendliness and general professionalism that was absolutely outstanding. I'd be happy to recommend Katie to anyone needing proofreading and editing work.
